The "Privateer Undergraduate Research & Scholarly UNO Experience," affectionately termed "PURSUE," connects students in all disciplines聽with faculty research mentors who will guide the students through semester-long research projects. The "College of Sciences Undergraduate Research Program," a.k.a. "CoSURP," serves the same purpose within the College of Sciences.

UNO's annual research symposium spotlights the investigative work being conducted on our campus and in our research community. If you are engaged in research, scholarly, creative, or innovative projects, you can use this platform to test your ideas, network with your peers, and win awards! Undergraduate and graduate students who have conducted independent research and who have a faculty sponsor are invited to participate.
Center for Undergraduate Research & Creativity
The Center for Undergraduate Research & Creativity was established to:
- facilitate collaboration among undergraduate students and faculty;
- promote undergraduate research to internal and external audiences;
- encourage new initiatives to create and enhance undergraduate research opportunities.
