Brian Seeger earned a Bachelor of Music, summa cum laude from Berklee College of Music, and a Master of Music in Jazz Performance from the 91ֱ��.

Returning to his alma mater to join the full-time faculty in 2007, he teaches advanced improvisation, music production, applied strings, and music business, directs ensembles, mentors budding producers and recording engineers, and oversees the busy recording studio. 

His performance and recording credits include work with such diverse talents as Aaron Neville, Davell Crawford, Stanton Moore, Karrin Allyson, Evan Christopher,  Cindy Scott, and his own group, the Organic Trio. The Trio’s 2017 release Saturn's Spell spent nearly 2 months in the top ten of the JazzWeek charts, peaking at #2. He tours frequently in Europe and the United States with several bands, and has represented the U.S. on several State Department-sponsored jazz ambassador tours, including trips to Bolivia and Kazakhstan.

Professor Seeger is a master studio producer and composer, with production credits on numerous and varied releases. Recent projects include jazz singer/songwriter Cindy Scott’s most recent release, Historia, as well as her award-winning Let the Devil Take Tomorrow (OffBeat Award: Best Jazz CD 2011), saxophonist Brad Walker’s Quintet, the Radiators' Camile Baudoin's Old Bayou Blues (OffBeat Award: Best Folk/Roots CD 2012), and Alex Bosworth's Here for You. Seeger has also produced discs for artists in France, Luxembourg, the Czech Republic and New York.

Brian Seeger is a member of the NARAS (the organization that presents the Grammys) Production and Engineering wing. He has been a guest clinician and lecturer at many jazz camps, colleges and schools. He is an artist endorser for Mesa/Boogie amplifiers, D’Addario strings, Keeley effects and Bryan Galloup guitars.
