Insurance
Students, faculty and staff who are participating in Study Abroad programs sponsored by the 91Ö±²¥ and who are temporarily engaged in educational activities while outside the U.S.A. will automatically participate in this Plan by Zurich Insurance Company. Insured participants such as faculty and staff may purchase additional dependent coverage.
This insurance policy covers emergency medical, medical repatriation and medical evacuation, hospital admission and medical expenses, and coverage for return of remains. The cost of this insurance is included in the program cost. For details regarding the coverage of the Plan, please view the insurance brochure. Please note, this insurance will provide coverage for diagnosis and treatment of COVID-19 to the same extent as it would for any other medical conditions covered per the terms of this insurance.
Note: Enrollment in the Study Abroad Insurance Plan is required for all students participating in 91Ö±²¥ Study Abroad Programs. All study abroad students should download and print the travel insurance card. Students need to write their name on it and carry it with them while abroad.
