Hybrid Class Format (Online and On-Campus)
The MS is designed for traditional students and working professionals seeking career advancement or a specialized career in transportation planning or administration. It is offered in a hybrid online and on-campus format that provides students with the flexibility of an online program and the benefits of concentrated on-campus meetings that will allow students to build a professional network with classmates, instructors and industry-affiliated partners. The Master of Science in Transportation's hybrid format allows all students enrolling in the program to enjoy the benefits of in state tuition.
Specializations
Students may choose among one of three specializations.
- transportation planning
- transportation administration
- a self-directed concentration
Student Learning Outcomes
Student Learning Outcomes specify what students will know, be able to do, or be able to demonstrate when they have completed a program of study.
UNO Transportation Institute
The program is housed in the UNO Transportation Institute (UNOTI), a federally-designated University Transportation Center, which engages in applied research across Louisiana.
