Dean鈥檚 Welcome
I am pleased to welcome you to the UNO College of Sciences. The dedicated faculty and staff of the College strive to promote advancements in science through teaching, research and service, and to support the educational, economic and technological development of the New Orleans metropolitan area and the state of Louisiana.
The College offers baccalaureate and masters degrees in the natural, physical, behavioral and computational sciences, as well as doctoral degrees in many of these areas. In addition to classroom and laboratory instruction, graduate and qualified undergraduate students have the opportunity to participate in research experiences in the basic and applied sciences.
