Adjusting to online teaching and a changed schedule may feel daunting. Flexibility is key to making it work. Being flexible starts with setting manageable, realistic goals for yourself and your students. UNO’s recommends that faculty be flexible in excusing absences and allowing students to make up assignments, tests, exams and any other work disrupted by emergency campus closures.
