UNO College of Business Administration Awards Seven Endowed Professorships
The 91Ö±²¥ College of Business Administration recently awarded seven endowed professorships to top faculty.
"I would like to thank all those who applied for the professorships as well as those who took the time to nominate candidates," said Dean John A. Williams, who said the professorships were open to all COBA faculty. "Congratulations to all."
The appointments are as follows:
Bank One Professorship in Minority & Emerging Business – Dr. Elyria Kemp, assistant professor of marketing
Hibernia Professorship in Economics & Finance – Dr. M. Kabir Hassan, professor of economics and finance
Chase Professorship II – Dr. Pam Kennett-Hensel, professor of marketing and department chair
Walter J. Boasso Professorship in Entrepreneurship – Dr. Kenneth Lacho, professor of management
Bank One Professorship – Dr. James E. Payne, provost and vice president of academic affairs
Sidney Baron Professorship in Marketing – Dr. Sam Min, associate professor of marketing
Max Derbes III Professorship in Real Estate – Dr. Ivan Miestchovich, associate professor of economics and finance, director of the Center for Economic Research
