Cross and Juen's show, "Embodiments," traverses the terrain of the body, particularly in female-performed experiences. Through a blend of painting and video, Cross and Juen call upon established cultural tropes of representation to create personal narratives that explore trauma, catharsis, joy and indulgence.
The shows will run though April 7 withregular gallery hours on Saturday and Sunday from 12-5 p.m. The gallery is located at 2429 St. Claude Ave.
