Kathleen Bradshaw, a 91ֱ graduate student in English, has been selected for a four-month internship in Paris this fall through the French American Fund, with support from the City of Orleans, France, the Consulate General of France in New Orleans and the Mayor’s office, City of New Orleans.
The nonprofit organization gives students an opportunity to study the country’s legislative process.
Bradshaw will be working in the office of a French senator at the Sénat/Palais Bourbon, and also taking a class at the renowned Paris university the Sorbonne, while writing about it all as a part of her master’s thesis.
“I am very excited about and grateful for the opportunity and can’t wait to spend some time in Paris,” Bradshaw said.
